TOM  MALKIN

DIRECTOR OF SOCIAL MEDIA RESEARCH

Tom is a pioneer in social media intelligence and has been cracking the code of social media insights for over 16 years. He has transformed the way organizations of all sizes across diverse industries have integrated social media insights into their traditional qualitative and quantitative research methods.

His experience includes working at Ipsos, Merkle, and IBM the latter of which he was awarded "First Patent Application Invention Achievement Award" for creating efficiencies in extracting intelligence from social media. He also received a “Great Mind Award” from the Advertising Research Foundation when he was co-founder at social intelligence startup, GeeYee.

He holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, an MLA from the University of Chicago, a B.S. in Accounting and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a General Course Diploma from the London School of Economics.

FUN FACTS: Many years ago, Tom was a USPTA certified tennis professional and now plays in national Father-Son tournaments with his son.
